Made With Love!

This pizza was a hit! My meat eater sister took one bite and the flavor combinations completely overwhelmed her!!  Justly so, I put a lot of love into this dish.  The faint of cooking heart will not be able to sit through this process. But if you want to experience the same flavors and joy roll-up your sleeves and let’s get started!

Your will need:

*Naan flat bread

*Fresh (not processed) Mozzorella

*Fresh Tomatoes

*Fresh Basil (I got mine from my garden, so convenient!)

*Olive Oil

*Fresh Onion

The process:

Obviously, a classic pizza calls for tomato sauce. And nothing is more satisfying than making your own tomato sauce.

Chop tomatoes into quarters. Place in sauce pan with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and chopped garlic. Let cook until the tomatoes are broken down into a pasty sauce. This will take about an hour depending on how many tomatoes you use.

Once your sauce is done to your liking, remove from heat.  Meanwhile, shred the mozzorella, chop the onion and julianne the basil.

Assembling the pizza is easy. On the naan, first the sauce, then the mozzorella, onion, and basil.

Bake until mozzorella is melted! Let cool and enjoy!!

Bon Appetit!
